三個月前我前往吉蘭丹丹江弟子規教學中心，用一機一鏡幫他們錄製了一部小廣告，小孩子們認真背著弟子規的畫面，真是太可愛了！

是偶然還是必然

想拍一部短片，很容易。
真正去拍一部短片，並不容易。
【血魚】，我等了三年。

三年前開始，
我不時都在思考著一個短篇故事，
希望可以拍出一部新鲜和让人惊喜的短片。
以前我常常太贪心的认为，一部短片像是一部电影的缩短版，
需要具备电影般的不同背景，角色，说着不同时间的故事。
可是后来我渐渐发现，从不少外国成功的短片中领悟，
一部好的短片，它只要用一个时间，一个背景，
就可以拍出惊人的故事和效果。

我不停的想，不停的夢。
始終沒有一個滿意的故事...

在一次偶然的機會下，我拍了Da.Mon.Ster的Expired Rubbish MV，
從中認識了可風哥，一位態度很好，很專業的演員。
也因為拍攝的關係，我開始留意很多MV，
結果有一次偶然地發現了一部MV，它的剪接有些失誤，
卻因為這樣，啟發了我寫【血魚】的故事。
然後我就開始想劇情，寫劇本。
台灣之旅影片其實上了一段時間，可是不知道為什麼，
就在這個時候，很偶然地被 TVBS發現，並且訪問了我，還上了台灣新聞。
也許因為這樣，在我接著就開拍【血魚】的時候，得到了很多人的支持和幫助。
【血魚】拍了三天，認識了一班很棒的人。
開始看見了我多年想拥有一班制作班底的梦想。

這一切是偶然嗎？還是必然？

我的第一次MV記事

回到兩個月前
那時後接到Wind打來的一通電話，說想找我拍一部溫力銘的MV
哇！當時的心情，又興奮又擔心
雖然嚴格來說，我沒拍過甚麼MV，但我還是大膽的接了
回到家裡，還記得我在FB打了一行字：
“接了一單很大壓力的工…”
畢竟，溫力銘也算是一位馬來西亞資深有名的歌手
如果你還不知道他是siapa?
對，他就是siapa的原唱。

第一次和溫力銘見面喝茶，是在Garden的一間餐廳
那次也是我第一次見到他本人
很親切，沒甚麼大明星架勢
就像一般二十來歲的青年，拿著一架iphone
然後把耳機拿給我，讓我聽聽他的新創作。

第一次聽到”Expired Rubbish”我就愛上了
第一個感覺，就是回想起他唱的 Siapa
是那種藏著悲傷，可是很有震嘆力的曲子
那種可以讓聽了深思的歌詞
我很喜歡。
後來聊了才知道
這將是他新組的一個新組合- DA.MON.STER的主打歌
由Danny溫力銘， Monkey D，和EsterMayMay組成

謝謝Wind和Danny對我的信任
讓我可以自由的發揮整個MV的創作
我花了幾天時間，想不到一個好的故事
歌詞內容很直接，想要表達的也許大家一聽就明白
但在這一個簡單的道理裡面，又怎樣用一個手法，
讓觀眾看了，還藏有去思考的空間?
這對我來說，很重要

這時我想，一個孩子他為甚麼會拋棄自己的父母親?
最大的原因，我想就是因為他只看到現在和將來
現在和將來父母老了，會怎樣阻礙他們的生活會怎樣成為他們的負擔
可是
很多時候，我們都忘了回頭看
看看父母親為我們付出了多少
想想父母親給予我們的愛

想到這裡，我終於有了頭緒
也就是這個MV，應該用一種倒敘的方式來說故事。
之後我想起了兒時的玩意 – Baja Hitam (Kamen Rider)
在这一個簡單的父子關係的成長故事里
用它來貫穿整個故事，使得它更加有意思。
然后再加上一些相對性的畫面和結局
整個故事也就誕生了。

有了故事，就是開始策劃整個拍攝的時候
這時候，問題又來了
因為人手與資金的不足，基本上也只有我和一位助理
所以很多籌備功夫，尋找演員，拍攝地點，都變成很難
我們得尋找的主力演員要有3個，拍攝地點有大約11個，
再加上助理當時得放下工作去升學，
這些東西頓時變成了一個大難關
當時我也一再的質疑到底是不是拍不成了
朋友也勸我說不如換個簡單的故事就好了
可是我沒有放棄。

和唱片製作公司談妥了延遲拍攝後
因為時間的允許我把Kah Giap帶了進來
Kah Giap曾因為監為producer一職和我合作過多次
他的加入也應此解決了不少難關

很快，就到了拍攝的日期
我們總共拍3天
第一和第三天為故事的背景拍攝
第二天就拍攝歌手唱歌的部分
三天的拍攝可以說是順利完成了
雖然第三天因為時間的關係，我不得不放棄一些畫面
但是由始至終我都明白，整個過程不可能是完美的
我學習取捨，學習分析甚麼可有可無...
最不好意思的是那個演小孩的阿棟
留下來為我們拍攝到很夜，因為他第二早還得上學呢

三天的拍攝結束了
感覺身心真的很累
這次的拍攝過程也讓我更加明白做一位導演真的不簡單
特別是在有限的製作團隊和有限的時間裡
一個導演要顧及的東西實在是太多了
除了指導演員，演員的走位，表情動作，
演員根據不同時間與場景的衣著打扮，
背景的真實度，背景演員的走位，
構圖和角度，應該用甚麼鏡頭，畫面應該怎樣動，燈光怎樣打...
太多了... 因此也讓我更加佩服完成一部好電影的導演

借此我要感謝所有在這期間幫助過我們的人
所有的工作人員，雖然嚴格來說我們只有4位
所以很多時候大家都得並肩不同崗位
好像化妝師也得幫我們拿燈還被派上場當臨時演員
謝謝專業的演員歌手們
謝謝你們為這支MV的無怨付出與汗水!

PassionRepublic 台灣之旅 Taiwan Trip

雖然天氣不做美，不是下雨就是熱到半死，走的地方也不多，但我都儘量把這五天里走過的，看見的把它拍下來，再把這些零碎的畫面組織起來，串成回憶。
謝謝Aik Sern和Cathy，還有所有的同事朋友，因為你們，這次的旅程才會精采！

Pudu Jail Demolition - 21.06.2010

"It stood for over a century and it took minutes to tear it down..." says SapphireBombay .

Our government decided not to keep Pudu Jail as one of the heritage site although it is more than 100 years old. The Pudu Jail wall, stretching about 300 meters, was demolished at 10pm last night.

I think it is such a waste to tear down the wall, knowing that it was once the world longest mural painting on the prison wall, painted by 3 prisoner during that time. At least I think they should preserve part of the wall because it has such a great history. As for the prison itself, I always thought it is a nice scene for a movie, it looks old and creepy, but now I would never have the chance to be filming in it anymore.

Last night, after I heard about the news, I decided to head over to Pudu Jail with my 550D to film part of the demolition, no tripod, no tracking, no steadicam this time... but just a camera and a lens, to capture what witnessed from my eyes. Leaving its memories and the last few pictures of the wall into a short video.

The lighting condition at the main entrance area was very poor, I got to set my camera ISO up to 3200, even 6400 with 2.8 f-stop. But when I moved to the side where they actually started the demolition, because of the spot lights, the ISO could decrease all the way down to 100, which is alot better. At there, you can see so many photographers and videographers making their chance to get the last coverage of the walls and broken pieces. Big cameras, small digicams, camera lights, external mic... lots of equipments, then I started to regret I should at least bring a monopod to get some steady shots.

After the shoot and supper with Gary, I reached home about 2am. Immediately I proceed with the editing and it's about 6am in the morning I uploaded it onto the web. And now I feel so grateful that this clip has been spreading so widely in the facebook and twitters, receiving lots of comments like I never had from all my previous videos.

THANK YOU very much! Not only for liking my works, but more importantly to spread this to the world, and to many many people who has or has not realized this action of government, who grew up walking by pass the wall, and who would remember the name... Pudu Jail (1895-2010).

溫馨端午節

每年的端午節，媽媽都會做粽子。
而且是外婆的原滋原味，非常的好吃！

今年，媽媽怕我們趕不及在端午節前吃到粽子，
所以爸爸媽媽和外公就特地從吉蘭丹駕車7個小時，
把粽子帶到來吉隆玻給我們吃！
謝謝您們，我今天才會有這麼美味溫馨的粽子吃！
今天是端午節。
端午節的意義就是要飲水思源，
所以記得要和家人團圓吃粽子噢。
祝大家端午節快樂！

Sheri + Yi Shen | SDE

Last year I helped Sheri and YiShen to take video on their ROM, half year later, I'm so happy to be invited again to be part of their big day, the wedding ceremony.

Congratulations to Sheri and Yi Shen!

Sheri is a very best friend of my sister. They have been very close like sisters since they were kids, so it is both pleasure and pressure to handle the shoot. It was fun shooting on the day because the sisters are nice and pretty, and the best man is very funny while playing the games. I enjoyed the shoot very much, as well as editing this piece, it got me laugh for a few times!

Wei Wei + Kah Win | Dinner Reception

I was there at the next day's dinner reception of Wei Wei and Kah Win, and was glad to be able to capture the dinner for them. It was a great night, I got to meet up with many old friends and school mates.

Speaking of Wei Wei, she is a friend of mine since we were at primary school. And all I could remember about her was that she has a good voice, a great singer! So I thought this song would suit her well... music, and love! :P

This is the first dinner reception highlight we've done. The reception was held at Bukit Jalil Gold Resort, and because it was held the next day after the morning ceremony, so we were able to be there earlier to capture some preparations. The low light is a big issue for us shooting ...in that hall, we had asked for brighten it up but guess that is the most they can go, so we just got to live with it and sorry for the graininess... :P

Once again, congratulations to Wei Wei and Kah Win, and we couldn't be more happy to be part of this special evening! :)

Keith Ng + Pei Sang | SDE

First of all, I must say this is one of my most enjoyable wedding shoot. Keith is my best friend from secondary school, he's one handsome boy, and still keeping it sharp till now, his big day! I'm happy for him, married a pretty and friendly wife Pei Sang. Congratulation my friend, and I can't be more grateful to be invited to this special life event and to film it down.

We went from groom place, to bride and back to groom and then to the bride again in one and half hour time at that morning, lots of traveling. But good thing is they both staying quite near and I'm glad the sequence cut out well. The brick house, one beautiful place where the bride and family had a night stay in there. I like the lighting in there, it covers by many trees and plants and light rays are all around.

The little green forest, it's actually a playground field outside Keith's house made a good scene. We had a little time at there after the ceremony and they both were so co-operative with us even though it was really tiring after the long day. The shots are so worth it I mean, it adds a little touch to the film.

On our side, it is good to see the outcome of our first try to combine slow-motion and normal speed sequence. The slow-mo is nice playing along with the great song by Daniel Powter - Whole World Around. My personal favorite shot is where the couple walking out from the brick house and we see all the colorful ribbons falling from the sky.

It is also my first time to use our newly bought lens, Tamron 17-50 VC. The whole gaming part and most of the other shots were film using this lens. And I must admit it is a great lens for using handheld because the VC, and good range you can cover from 17mm to 50mm with a pretty nice depth f2.8. The white balance is one of the issue because it is more unstable compared to Canon's, and it's very yellowish under the bulb but a bit color correction in post will save it.

Seng Pit + Suaning | SDE

Seng Pit is a gymnastic coach, Suaning is a school teacher... I think both of them made a perfect match! They painted their room together, made special gift for the guests... we saw lots of hardwork and hearts from them.
Thanks to Seng Pit and Suaning for letting us be a part of this fabulous day! We wish you a happily ever after! :)

On our part, it was quite a challenge because we have only a limited time - less than 4 hours to send out this SDE. It was rush, we were transcoding the footages along the shoot, even in the car when traveling from one place to another. The editing progress was tough because the playtime is longer than what we did previously, as we hear the clock ticking it went harder, luckily the rendering time this time was fast enough and glad we made it on time. Hope you will like the video! :)

周金亮-想說話的歌 | 預告版

一部關於馬來西亞資深音樂人－周金亮“想說話的歌”的短篇紀錄片。片里的歌曲“寂寞晚上”是由周金亮詞曲包辦，非常的動聽。
A short documentary about a renown composer/song writer in Malaysia - Chow Kam Leong. The song title "lonely night" was written and composed by himself.

希望有耳機的朋友可以用耳機靜靜聆聽周金亮，想說話的歌。

Canon 550D/Rebel T2i first test

Had my first test with 550D at one of the famous street in KL, Malaysia - Bintang Walk

Shot with EF50mm f1.8, 720p 50fps, ISO800-1600, Standard picture style, manual setting, edited and slowmo in FCP.

Just like the 7D, there are 2 settings for video in 550D, which is either fully auto, or fully manual. It also comes with the same frame size and frame rate with the 7D, which you can shoot from full HD 1080p, 720p, to SD 640x480. In addition, 550D came out with a new cropped frame for 640x480 which is just cropped pixel that made it like a zoom. Picture quality wise, I would say it is excellent, I can't really tell the different between 550D and 7D.

Things that I don't like about it compared to 7D, is the video mode have to switch from the dial on top, and it is located too far from the creative picture mode (AV, TV, M...), means that if I wanted to take picture with the AV mode (which I oftenly do), and instantly I want to switch to video, I have to rotate about a circle to reach the video mode.

Compared to 7D, the 550D's respond time is abit slow. There is a obvious delay when I record - stop - magnify - and record again. Sometimes I have to press a few times to do the magnifying focus. I think this due to the single processor in 550D, while the 7D has dual processor.

However, the good thing is I found it's more easier to focus compared to 7D, maybe because the LCD is slightly bigger, and the screen looks sharper.

550D is definitely a camera which "You get more from what you pay!". It's handy, light and easy to bring around, and is still hard to believe that with this size of camera, you get to produce such superb quality video!

'I'm The One' - Behind the scene

A 'Behind the scene' of a commercial shoot we did recently, thanks to Kahgiap who shot this.
A big thanks to Shan Fei, FiFi, Lihwa and everyone else who helped during the shoot. The final video will be out by the 20th this month. We will also share more about this production at that time.

WeiHan + WuiHa | Wedding SDE

Congratulation to this cute couple WeiHan and WuiHa!

It was a very hot day!!! and I couldn't stop sweating all day long, non-stop! But it was fun. Wei Han is friend since college time, and now I am so happy to be there to capture the moments of his big day!

The wedding ceremony was a happening one, Wei Han has a big family of relatives, some of them came all the way from Australia. The ceremony ended around 3pm, means until the dinner reception, I had only 3 hours for the SDE editing, including file transfering and output.
That's one, another challenging part was to use the Final Cut Pro to edit for the first time. I knew Avid would spend too much time on the transcoding during import, to overcome that problem, I recently bought a new MacBookPro to replace my old broken laptop, and also to use FCP for faster same day editing.

Everything went so rush, and we were still rendering the video while on our way to the dinner reception. Anyway, we were glad this video came out on time, and this was screened at their dinner reception. :)

HANDS Percussion - BTS

It is our pleasure to help the HANDS Percussion team (手集團) to produce video for their drum performance. We had great time working with a group of passionate and artistic people, including the lighting guys, sound guys and the drummers who are young and energetic!

We spent one day at the Actor Studio Lot10, from setting up lights and sounds, rehearsing, and filming for 2 pieces of their drum performance.

It was also our first time shooting with the combination of Canon 7D and 5Dmk2. We hope you enjoy this behind-the-scene while waiting the video to complete! :)

My new sound gadgets

Sounds and audios are very important in film making, yet they are always something not taken care by the independence film makers. From the previous videos I had made, I realized that the audio is a big issue with VDSLR camera - it's mono and doesn't allow any setting control for audio/sound, not even a AGC (Automatic gain control) built in it, so even when I plug in a external mic, the audio level can go too high and result a very bad audio.

So here's something I bought in recently, a ROBE Video Mic & a ZOOM H4N handy recorder.

ROBE Video Mic is a condenser microphone which made to mount on the DSLR's hot shoe. This directional condenser microphone focus on the sound coming from infront, and isolate the sound from the background. It is a very good mic for taking on-the-go dialogues, very useful when shooting documentary. The quality is almost as good as pointing a boom mic at the subject.

ZOOM H4N recorder is a combination of a high quality stereo microphone and a sound recorder. It can be taking up to 4 channels of audios, and you can control each sound level. It records in both wav and mp3 format, with the qualities up to 24bit/96kHz. Many more functions and setting you can play around... It works as an independence device, it's very handy and easy bring around, and I love that it supports XLR cable!

Passion Republic annual dinner at Genji Sushi, Hilton Hotel. Oh, there was no lucky draws... :P

Finally, a complete group photo of our team!

After the dinner, we went to the NoBlackTie Jazz bar for some chill time. It was a great night spending with my fellow colleagues, listening to song performance by Isaac Entry. I was really into the songs and love the environment, it was so relaxing and definitely a good place to end the year (yeah we are celebrating the lunar new year tomorrow!).

Since I had my 7D in hand so I did a little filming in the bar. Here's something I put together to share with everyone!

THAIPUSAM - the trailer

Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community, and also known as the largest gathering of multi-races in Malaysia. It is a day to celebrate the birth of Lord Murugan, as well as the occasion when He was given a spear to defeat the demon.

I've been photographing this special event at Batu Caves temple for the past 2 years, and thanks to Canon 7D, this year I am able to capture the moving pictures!

With the help from my former colleague KahHooi, assistance from Gary and ChinHong, we have shot this mini-documentary about Thaipusam. Special thanks to Kesu and his family and friends for being so kind to us, allowing us to capture the entire procession through them.

It was quite a heavy shoot for me, really tired, because we started shooting a day before like about 5pm, and continuously non-stop shooting until the next day morning 9am. Imagine after many hours of standing and walking and running along with the procession, then about 5am in the morning, we had to climb the 272 steps up to the temple cave, carrying the cameras with steadicam, tripod and bags... and then walk down again! I admit my leg was shaking during the climb, and did feel dizzy sometimes, but I just kept telling myself that I could do this... and I have to do this... We did it, and we were all happy!

Now I have to use my possibly free times to edit this piece, and I hope it will turn out well to share with everybody. :)

I figured we didn't manage to get a group photo, so sorry... Here's the only photo taken from behind the scene, it's me shooting the time lapse at where the procession takes place.

DIY slider for tracking shot

Many people were asking about the DIY slider I made for shooting tracking shots like the video above. If you search online, there are companies produce mini dolly/slider for smaller video cameras or video DSLR, for example - GlideTrack, although it is very compact, easy to carry and setup, but the price is very expensive... So I decided to make one my own, before I have the enough saving to buy a proper one.

The idea came across one day when I was hanging towel in my washroom. The concept is simple, it is exactly how a dolly track works, but you just gotta "miniature" it. Stuffs that I used here are like: the towel hanger (got it from Ikea), some cheap skateboard bearings, small pieces of wood, crews and nuts.... etc.

How to do it? I will just let the pictures do the explanations:

You can directly place your camera on top, or together with the video/tripod head, either way will works. There you go, a cheap and simple slider which help bringing your cinematography to another level! :)

2009年12月31日
和一班舊同學和公司的同事倒數2009年的最后幾個小時。
時間一到12點的時候，從我家的樓臺，可以了望到吉隆坡各個角落綻放的煙火！
大家手里握著酒杯，互相道新年快樂，不用擠來擠去，不用大喊大叫，這樣的跨年方式多好！
我知道，是因為我不年輕了...

4點多大家告別了后不久，我收到了老板打來的電話，
說公司進賊了！
然后就匆匆忙忙感到公司去了...
就這樣，迎接了全新的2010年。

回顧2009年，
對我而言，絕對是非常難忘的一年。
很多事情的發生，讓我學習了很多，也成長了很多...

去年1月1日，剛剛步入2009年的時候，一班好朋友給了我一個驚喜的生日慶祝！

接下來就是不斷的House Warming Party。似乎每個周末都有，集合了很多很多的朋友，非常地開心！

年尾有一件事讓我特別的興奮...
就是當我把7D帶回家的時候！
7D的出現對我來說，意義非常重要，
可以說是圓了我許多年來錄影的夢想。

現在我可以用我懂的東西，從她身上發揮到我想要的效果。
這將是錄影界的一大改變，以后VDSLR錄影會不會像單眼攝影一樣，

又或者像我一位朋友說的，你在街上隨意丟一塊石頭，
然后被你丟中的哪一個人，都是攝影師？

唉～還是一句，做好自己本分最重要。
今年的目標呢，會把重心放在錄影多一些，希望可以制作一部劇情短片。
當然還要陸陸續續拍一些小影片，和大家分享！

今年的1月3日呢，
要特別感激我的姐姐，表弟表妹們從四面八方的到來，為我慶祝二十七歲的生日！超開心的，謝謝你們！:)

A 7D Documentary - 20 Years Initiator 风雷二十

My first short documentary shot entirely with 7D.

"风雷二十" "20 Years Initiator" is an chinese cultural orchestra performance by 专艺民族乐团 Professional Cultural Center Orchestra, celebrating their good 20 years in Malaysia since 1989.

I spent 2 days to shoot this documentary, 1st day at their training center and the next day at the actual performing hall. It was a great experience staying close to these musician especially during their training period. believe me, it sounds alot better than listening from under the stage.

I know the audios are real bad in this piece... I was really sad about it, having so minimal control over the mic and the location has never been quieter for the interviews. Gotta save more money for a better mic now...

Filmed, edited and directed by me. My girlfriend as assistant and helped with on-spot file transferring. Thanks to the musician- Shan Fei & Xi Qin for their helps, and everyone else for the co-operation along the shoot.

Steamboat n friends

Was having a small gathering and house warming with cousins and friends last friday night. We had lot of fun with steamboat, drinking and wii...

The same night I shot this video with my new 7D, testing the performance of high ISO in low light and high shutter for slowmo. Noises can be noticeable in most of the shots because of high ISO but overall I think it turned out pretty well, especially the 50fps progressive that makes the slowmo looks very good.

I enjoy editing this video, and I hope you enjoy watching it! :)

Shot entirely at shutter 1/100, ISO 3200-6400. 720p 50fps slow down to 25fps, color grading done in Avid Express. Film grains were added in post to fix the aliasing problem.

泰國曼谷(Bangkok) - Day2

第二天吃過了早餐，差不多十點多，我們前往曼谷非常有名的大規模市集 - Chatuchak Market。
相信Chatuchak這個名字對很多人來說應該不會陌生，而我可是第一次游覽此處。

這里不會很大；而是超級的大！
在這里販賣的，還真是無奇不有，什么雜物，穿的，用的，裝飾的，種的，吃的，喝的什么都有！價格便宜的來，還可以講價！對，一定要講價，干脆把它當成這里購物的一種交流和禮貌，哈哈～總之要扣個至少20-30%啦！

在市集里邊的商店都是小小一間一間的。多到你真的是不知道要進哪一間好。一邊逛一邊拍照要小心，因為有些店主會抗拒。曾經有一間就要我當場洗掉照片，很串！我睬她都傻～

這里的吃店也很多，多數是在靠外街兩旁。要在這里找泰國道地的美食很容易。

這是青木瓜薩拉，泰國非常有名的道地甜品。青木瓜削了后，放進一個木碗里，放入調味汁，用木棒敲敲槌槌，讓青木瓜入味。酸酸甜甜辣辣的，非常開胃！雖然之前都有常吃過，但這里的就是特別香脆，特別棒！

午餐時間我們找到一間特別熱鬧的店面。點了泰國著名的泰式米粉湯，還有炒果條。
泰式米粉我記得小時候常常會去我家鄉和泰國的邊界哪兒吃，經過了很多年的今天，再次找到了那種很懷念的味道。辣辣甜甜的，不油不膩，湯頭特別香！寫到這里我還真的是餓了。

桌上通常會有四種調味料。記得吃的時候，一定要加上糖和辣椒粉！相信我，這樣來調特別好料！

臨走前我還忍不住再叫多一碗來吃。吃飽了不忘和這間店的老板來一張合照（右邊那一位）。
然后我問他說，這米粉湯在泰國叫什么？他說 "gui diao"。奇怪，我心想，明明是米粉，怎么變果條？哈哈～

不管它，繼續吃！

吃飽了，又繼續走走逛逛拍拍...

下面一支一支的是雪糕，不，應該叫冰條。還有右邊那張賣橙汁的，如果有機會來這里，一定要買來喝，包你一罐不夠！哈哈～

鳥蛋！在泰國可以常見到很多攤子這樣賣。遠望好像一朵朵花，很可愛。配上簡單的胡椒粉加醬油，一口一粒，很香很好吃！

走著走著，看到很多小小的手制公仔，各式各樣，還畫上很多得意的表情。我們忍不住停下來，選了一個有一個...

阿xiang旁邊那個就是主人，那些公仔都是他自創和親手設計的，很厲害！人家還上了不少報紙和雜志呢。

遇見一群MU的粉絲，還大方的站著給我照相。而我卻只是一直注意著走在后頭的兩位美女，哈哈。

拍到這里時... 出狀況了...

這次的旅程我得到了一個很寶貴的經驗，就是下次出門旅行，一定要多帶幾架相機，如果是帶DSLR，一定不能只帶一支鏡頭！我就是以為要方便，只帶一支17-85mm，誰會想到它竟然在這個時候耍脾氣... 不知道是不是很久沒管它的緣故。
其實這支鏡昨天晚上在Siam Square的時候已經有不對勁，熒幕一直顯示ERROR 1 警告，今天早上開始更完全啟動不了自動對焦，結果得用手動來對焦，很不容易。不止，拍到這里時，光圈竟然卡著了，而且卡在F22，最大的光圈！沒有大大的太陽，你都不用想可以拍到好的照片。我試著用ISO1600來拍，所有室內，或較暗的室外，全都暗完！

結果，沒得拍了。

我們走了一整天，也還是走不完這個Chatuchak。最后投降了，回酒店沖個涼然后在附近找東西吃。我們在一個小巷里找到這個攤子，再靠幾個手語和幾句"Aroi Aroi"點了幾道泰國菜。

最后硬硬來張打Flash的，因為這里的煮炒實在太好吃了！

就這樣，又不幸又疲倦地度過了愉快的曼谷第二天。

泰國曼谷(Bangkok) - Day1

半年前阿xiang問我說，她想帶她媽媽和妹妹去旅行。她想說去泰國曼谷，因為吃，住，和機票都很便宜。
我當然說好，畢竟這是我第一次踏進曼谷。

31.10.2009 - 抵達

曼谷的國際機場 Suvarnabhumi Airport，設計很大也很宏觀，一下飛機就可以看到這是一個很先進的國家。
泰國有著它獨特的文化，而且是購物和美食的天堂，所以每年都有無數的外國旅客不停地前來觀光。看看當天在機場排隊等待過境的旅客就知道！

拿了行李，想說去搭個計表(meter)的德士去酒店，因為慣例來講機場里叫的德士都會特別貴，但是對第一次來曼谷的我們，真的一點頭緒也沒有！跟著指示牌走出機場，糟！怎么沒有德士接。沒辦法進回去問了問價錢，哇靠！要1100泰銖（約RM110)！

不行，走下樓再找找看。

下到底層，我們看到了在排隊的人潮和德士。
結果這一程去酒店的計表費用，只需差不多200泰銖（約RM20)。

辦好酒店check in手續，放好行李都差不多下午4點了。
我們決定說先到酒店對面的超級市場隨意吃個午餐，然后才到市中心走。

我們來到了頂樓的food court。在這里經營的小販，也許因為不是游客區，所以都不會說英語。有些問到的勉強會一兩句，不然就是比手劃腳了。

這是我點的。看到店前擺放一碗碗不同的辣椒粉，我指著它們問這位女士說“mix?"，他點了點頭，我說ok! 接下來她就把這些不同的辣椒粉，放進白飯里攪拌，完成了的樣子有點像炒飯。她說這醬料叫做Nam Prik。加上蔬菜，魚和雞蛋，味道還真不錯！只是那些配料有一點冷，弄燒應該會更好吃。

吃過了午餐，我們就前往位于市中心的Siam Square。一路上往車窗外望，可以看見曼谷街上的天線特別多，各式各樣的招牌，讓人感覺復雜的來又不會凌亂，形成一種很美層次感。難怪人家說用lomo相機在泰國隨便拍都美。

Siam Square, 暹羅廣場這區一應俱全的集合了曼谷各個大大小小的購物中心。有Siam Paragon, MBK Center... 還有在戶外街道兩旁的各式購物商店，簡直就是年輕人的購物天堂！

走累了，就停下來喝杯芒果冰沙，或嘗嘗不同的泰國小食。休息夠了再繼續逛。
自助旅游的好處就是這樣。

這里一直到深夜，人潮都一直不斷，一波一波地。如果你想要看時下泰國帥哥美女的打扮，年輕人的夜生活，想要挨家逐戶地逛完一家又一家的百貨公司，Siam Square是非到不可之處！

從架空行人橋上，經過Siam Discovery, 然后Siam Paragon, 再一直往上走，你就會來到Central World Plaza百貨公司。這里有一間女孩們特別鐘愛的商店 - NaRaYa。里面各種設計和圖案的包包，加上價格非常便宜，會讓她們控制不了手，買了幾個又幾個！

終于，那兩個女孩子逛到百貨公司關門了才甘愿走出來，這時的我們已經是很餓了。
從Central World Plaza的旁門走出來，我們看見了非常熱鬧的街邊檔。不用考慮，就找個位子坐了下來。然后再用手語，加上簡單的英文，點了幾道食物。

這里吃的是燒烤肉和海鮮，還有用火炭煮的火鍋。別看小它小小一窩湯，味道可是非常的到位！再加上泰國啤酒Singha，一級棒！

填飽了肚子后，我們就搭德士回酒店。就這樣，度過了愉快又疲倦的曼谷第一天。

Visit Grandma's New Home

During last trip back to KB - 9th October, we visited to Grandma's new home. That day is also her birthday.
Grandma shifted into her new home on the 21st Sept, the same day as me moved into new house. :)

ShangHai Wedding night

Went back to KB last weekend to attend ah Xiong & Jenny's wedding dinner. The theme was ShangHai night, the whole event was very well-planned and went very smooth. Works well done to Xiong and all the commitees. We enjoy the night alot! Thanks for bringing us a different wedding reception.

I was attending Xiong's wedding dinner at KB the other night, while I was taking some casual photos, this very "yeng" pose kept appearing infront of me. He is my best friend - CH.

Yeah, my house.

It's all began with Xiang helping her friends to look for a house in the condo I lived and there we came across with this agent. And that was about 2 months ago...

That time, the rental contract of the unit I lived-in previously is about to end in end of Sept, so it's either we continue to rent for another year, or we moved out. Ofcoz we've been planning to buy a house and doing some research from time to time. So when Xiang introduced the agent to her friend, we asked her to show us some available units as well.

Then she recommended us to this house. It is the largest among the 3 type of unit in this condo, and is selling out at a lower price. Why? Because this house was rent out to some irresponsible tenants that pissed of the owner. They didn't pay for their rentals, water bills and even electricity... and messed up the house so bad. Eventually the owner has no choice but to bare the overdue bills himself after rejected them out. Next, is to sell the house, cheaper.

And what coincidence, the owner is also from Kelantan. So samo-samo kelate, very easy to talk lah. Because we need to move in before Oct, he even agreed to give us the key before the bank loan is done, so that we can start the renovation straight away.

29.08.2009 - done with the wiring and air-con cables. I added in around 20 electric outlets around the house.

05.09.2009 - Hook up the lights, change the locks, aluminum windows, doors...

I moved in on 21.09.2009. It is a good day, my mum said. :)

Xiong & Jenny's pre-wedding

Ah Xiong is a very best friend of me, therefore processing his pre-wedding photos took me a very long time to finish... slowly, carefully and with lots of heart's work. :P

Next weekend will be the big day of Xiong and Jenny, so I guess it's about time to present his pre-wedding album that was shot last April at Perhentian Island. Without the assist from Gary, make-up by Jaymee, wardrobe by Xiang, and companian of grandpa & many friends, that wouldn't be a successful and fun trip!

Thanks to Xiong & Jenny again for giving me the chance to shoot their wedding photo, and brought me back to this beautiful island.

虽然我和她只见过一次面，
但她是多么的平易近人，亲切和友善。
和她聊天非常的有趣，
她会一直笑，
然后用不同的语言，
广东话，华语，英语等来交谈。
很轻松，很自在。

这是一位马来西亚电影和广告界最顶尖的导演，
却没有高高在上的傲慢样子 - Yasmin Ahmad.

如今，她走了。
但她那颗大爱的心，那一部部温馨感人的作品，

八年一游

哈哈~我姐姐很高兴的对我们说。
“我都已经是新加坡公民了~”

的确，这八年来，我只到过新加坡两次。
一次是和同事到哪里参观玩具展。姐姐不在。
第二次，和香还有阿雄，
终于踏进了姐姐的家...

这一次的旅程格外的开心！
吃不停的美食，逛不停的街，笑不停的话题，
最难忘的还是凌晨4点还在Mustafa超市里逛街捣蛋拍照的我们。

就黑白

一直都很喜欢黑白照，
但以前都不敢用DSLR拍黑白，
因为觉得很浪费，
所以都只拍颜色然后再用电脑后制成黑白。

五月的某一天，
我把我的40D调去黑白设定，
Contrast调至最高，sharpness最低，
Filter选红色。
这样一次冒昧的尝试，
让我意识到原来DLSR也可以随拍出很满意的黑白照。

马六甲。半日游。

This is Ah Xiong. He used to be my secondary school teacher. He taught me a lot of things in my life. Then he became a very best friend of me, there are so much that we both like in common: taking photos, chinese calligraphy, drawings, movies, swimming... and Pulau Perhentian.

Recently, we were back on the island. This time's visit is very special, because we were there to shoot ah Xiong and Jenny's pre-wedding photo. Yeah, he is getting married! And I bet most of his friends are very glad, "finally he found his soul mate!". I'm happy too! haha~ :)

He said to me, "for what we have learned so long, taking photos, praticing different poses and skills... it's all for this time, for today."

Thank you for given me the chance to shoot you the most important moment in your life. Congratulations to Xiong and Jenny for soon begins their new journey of life.

I might not have time to proceed with the post-edit until next month, but here are some of the sneak peeks. I hope you enjoy!

Some said this look like a happy traveling trip photo rather than a pre-wedding photo. Ya indeed! When CH called for my help to shoot him a pre-wedding photo, I said I dun wan to take it as a job, and since we are so close, why not we go for a travel or even a photography outing? That is why you can see him with his beloved Nikon D90 in almost every pic! haha~

So, pre-wedding is basically stands for photos before wedding, maybe?

A week after the trip, these photos were shared at their KB's wedding dinner. Congratulations! And thanks for inviting me back to our hometown, Kelantan.

【LIVE LIFE】 DID IT!

I usually don't submit my films to festivals as I believed they are for Art's Film, well, most of the time. Plus, out there has like thousands and thousands of film festival over the world, and I believed for film submission, you need a certain level of experiences and skills, and making the right choice.

I'm certainly not that person, not yet. That is why I always wished to have a producer who helps and leads me on this...

So how did I know about Akira Kurosawa Memorial Short Film Competition?

It happened one day when I visited Kinokuniya. at the Japanese section's counter I saw this postcard about the competition. What attracted me was the theme of this year's competition - LIFE, and it required a short film less than 10mins, without any submission fees(that's the best part). Instantly I thought about LIVE LIFE, and from there I thought "why not give it a try?"

Months later, at Janury this year I received a letter from Japan. I was so excited because LIVE LIFE was announced for the nominated 19 films from over 500+ submission worldwide! There are 2 nominated films from Malaysia, one is from Ho YuHang, who directed "The Rain Dog" few years back.

It was a great news to me. Few months later, it came another greater news...

Wow! Unbelievable.... Congrats to myself, hehe~ And ofcoz to all the cast & crew members of LIVE LIFE! This would be the first award for LIVE LIFE, and for myself in filming career. Yeah! So can I go Japan for the awards ceremony??

Also congrats to YuHang for the Grand Prix! He's a great actor/director, funny guy!

Marriage of Raymond & Jeffryn

一年前，我有幸帮了Raymond和Jeffryn这对新人拍摄了他们的Registration of Marriage Made In The Sky.
去年12月27日的时候，他们再次找了我拍摄他们的婚礼。最近才整理好这一组照片，真的不好意识，过去的两个月实在是抽不出时间来。

当天拍摄可以说是非常顺利，他们俩都很合作，这一对新人也非常上镜，尤其是新娘Jeffryn，可真是美人一名！在这里也要谢谢Kelvin的推荐和当天的帮忙，让我在整个拍摄过程轻松了许多。

小舞狮

小时候，你肯定有玩过舞狮的经验吧！
我记得，我曾经也有过这样的一头狮。

这是我的表侄儿（正确的称呼我就不知道了）。
第一次见到他们的时候很开心。
不是因为第一次见，
而是这两个兄弟太可爱了！

这是弟弟阿San，你看他跟和尚握手，和尚都笑不见牙了！

这是哥哥阿Liang，不用多说，单看他的体形和脸型，就已经可以很开心了！

不多说啦，表演开始！

弟弟抓着狮头的姿势，还真是有型有款。
狮尾呢，是我另一个表弟昀胜。

表演半途，哥哥突然跑出来指教。哇，你看他的表情~

这下难度可高了！

二话不说就整个人躺下地上... 哈哈~真是难不到他！太专业了啦！

42 inches of hapiness

My living room has been sooo quiet for some times...
Therefore, on this Valentine's day,
I bought Xiang a 21" TV;
and Xiang also bought me a 21" TV!

So here's what we owned, a 42 inches of little dots to brighten our days and nights! Now my dvds are no longer hiding! Yeah~

外婆。好好走

这是一月十八号我在机场等待上飞机的时候，写下的一篇文章。

写到这里，飞机到了。

我还记得，
临走前，我独自去和外婆道别。
我说：“再过一个星期我就会回来了。”
外婆也是没有说话，只是mmm... mmm...的几声，
她好像有好多话要和我讲，只是说不出声，我也听不懂。
突然那时候我看见外婆瘦弱的右手，
很用力很用力，战抖地试着抬起来，
似乎要和我挥手道别，
我赶紧地去握起外婆的手...

我说 “哦，再见nah, mah!”

就这样一次告别后，
我再也见不到外婆了。

一月二十七日，早上九时十七分
表妹打来的一通电话- “外婆没有了...”

外婆安详地走了。
什么也没带走，
留下来的却是一份很珍贵的礼物 - 亲情。
在那一个月里面，
大家从共处，到对彼此的尊重，
从中共同发出的多少欢笑声...
我都会记住。

外婆火化当天，
当我望着外婆的棺木给推进火房的最后一刻，
我看见了外婆，灿烂可爱的笑容。
外婆走好，
一路顺着光，到开心的极乐世界去。
不要担心我们，外公和您所有的子孙都会好好的活着。

我们都很爱您，永远怀念您。

告别2008后，
我度过了2009最快乐的第一天。

原本是新年前夕派对，谁知一过十二点，
这班人给了我一个大惊喜，
为我提早庆祝了二十六岁的生日。
那一晚，我们几位老朋友聚在一起，
玩得特别的癫特别的开心。
用不断不断不断不断的狂笑声度过了09年的第一个凌晨。

Last few days, I was looking back at my movies again, first was 【Live Life】, and then 【Love.Say】, last time I used to think that they weren't good enough to spread around, but the feeling this time is different, it's like you were looking back at your old works, and even they weren't good enough, you could now tell yourself or anyone else, "hey~ that was like 2 years... 3 years ago man!" And then automatically, they became quite presentable, and you started be proud of it! :P

And then later, a composer who hasn't been in contact for almost 3 years, came to me in msn and asked, am I the director of 【Live Life】 and if there's any chance he can watch 【Live Life】? Instantly, I felt like all this is a sign, and I told him "you got me in the right time! I had just watched it after these years, and now I am thinking to upload it online!"

Well, I'm glad now I have my own server and is able to share the movies with you guys. If you haven't watch it before, this is 【Live Life】, a short film I wrote and directed 3 years ago. Yeah~ I still like the caption " There is a time to see with your heart"! haha~ If you like to read more about live life, follow this LINK.

昨晚在edit到一半，等待import video进 Avid 的同时，游览了Ying Tze的部落格一下。
读着读着精彩的时候，突然间扫过一句：
"special thanks to reinert for the video~ complete version will coming soon~thanks dick."
哇！压力来了！谢谢都已经讲了，你说死不死！

我啊，本来还打算简简单单弄一个好了。哪里知道， Kenneth那边来了一片DVD，Kah Giap那边更厉害，来了三片DVD! 加起来差不多都有七八GB的video，你说，死不死?

还没还没，更糟糕的是， Kenneth抄给我的video(Kenneth不要误会，我不是在怪你），copy啊import啊，等上个钟，弄个几次都不行，还要跟我耍hang机。然后看到Ying Tze的那一句话，我在想，不可以拖了，今晚一定得搞定它！结果，从十点多一直搞到天亮七点多... 终于...

云子，久等了!

Arx Avari, is a short game cinematic produced by our company - Passion Republic, it was also the project I first worked on when I joined this company in March 2008. I was asigned to work on designing the screenplay and camera works, as well as doing the animations, from 3d leica to the final sequences. Months after months, with lots and lots of hardworks from the team, I'm glad to tell this short is finally about to complete! I hope in another 2 weeks time, I will be able to share it with you all!

Can't remember when was the last time I do figure sketching... 3 years? or perhaps 4 years ago?
Anyway, this guy Simon called up the other day and asked if I can do a sketch for him. Without any hesitate I agreed with him, thinking that it might be also a good chance for me to practice back the strokes that has been long apart...

I finished this in about an hour+ (super slow!), doing it in a very life-sketching style is one of my favour, also depending on the original photo's lighting, oftenly when the faces' lightings are flatten without strong highlights and shadows, a more free-style-sketching can shows more art form. On the other hand, it is faster... haha~

每次从电视机观看直播的时候，你会不会好奇当进入广告那一段时间现场会是什么情况？

我昨晚终于有机会现场看一次直播，也同时解答了这一个谜...

第一次进广告的时候，司仪还会告诉我们说这个广告是给家里的电视观众看的，然后他们就开始和现场观众聊个有的没的。一直到电视广告要结束了然后台下的工作人员用手势叫他们闪去后台时，不知道是不是之前没沟通好，弄得他们不知所措，场面非常搞笑！

影片接下来的是大马黎明与陈峰为娱协奖担任颁奖嘉宾。黎明一出场，现场掌声不断，歌手们个个站起来鼓掌迎接她，非常壮观！黎明加油，下个月一定要拿个金马回来！

聚苑补品楼 Jade Garden

星期六下班后与Cathy和Aik Sern到吉隆坡的聚苑补品楼喝靓炖汤，补一补身心。
这家餐馆阿贤有介绍过，我们也是从中认识的：女汤男煲四不卖 (Medicine Soup)
如果你知道“蓝儿 Blue Boy Mension”大厦的话，聚苑补品楼就开在它的底层。

这里有各种的补汤，都是用不同的药材配方，慢慢的精致调配然后炖煮。菜单上也有详细说明各个炖汤的功效，如果不确定，老板娘还会一一为你解释清楚。

餐馆里的设计简单朴素，但绝对令你有一种很清静和轻松的感觉。我本身不爱喝汤，但我可以想象到，尤其是在下雨或比较冷的天，在这里喝一碗热炖汤，身心一定会很舒服。

我点了一碗大补汤。大补汤是店里的招牌补品，适合男女共喝。

Cathy 和 Aik Sern 则点了补中益气汤，和行气汤。

加上一些小菜就一餐了。这里的菜式都很不错，虽然有一点油腻，但配上炖汤就会刚刚好。

我起初不知道这里就是“蓝儿”，但一直对“蓝儿”这个地方充满好奇心，来到时问过老板娘才知道通过餐馆的另一道门出去，就是这栋旧楼的里层了。所以饭后我们也走进去参观参观。

这就是蓝儿，Blue Boy Mansion。一栋涂满岁月痕迹的陈旧大厦。

忙了这么多天，也应该要好好慰劳自己一下。忙什么？小弟第一次挥刀做广告导演，当然是要尽心尽力做好它，所以没什么时间写部落格请见谅！什么广告，迟点和大家分享，现在还不方便。

说到要好好慰劳自己一下，当然是要去吃一餐好的！何谓“好”，就地点好，环境好，招待好，吃喝设计好，味道好，最后少不了价钱好！上一趟LOMO聚会我没机会品尝到它的美食，所以这次，我们回到了牛车水的FULL HOUSE。

再说这一次相机非常有电，所以没借口不和大家分享了。:P

FULL HOUSE果然名不虚传，而且还真是full house，生意特别好！有机会可以来“参观参观”！嘻嘻~

KLPF 2008, Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival, was held at TimeSquare for the past 2 days. Various of equipments, accesories, cameras... show-cased at different photography booths, as well as introducing the latest cameras and lenses from different brands. Besides, the event also shared some talks from professional photographers and providing model-shoots and fashion shows.

The photo on top shows the picture of photographers firing shots during the model shoot. Rather than to sneak into the crowds I moved up to the next level, and shot this with a long exposure to get that flashing stars effect.

Met up with Pao Yan who has just came back from New Zealand. And then we, together with Kah Hooi approached the canon booth, for something BOLD.

Yeah, the 5D mkII! Oh shiiit, this baby is damn poisoning and could killed me on the spot! I tried the HD video recording, and with this f2.8 L lens, it's god-like! I couldn't get my hand off it, but many people were lining up behind to carry this baby. I would dream to bring it home... yes, I mean "dream". :(

I bought my camera a tripod and then we headed back to NZX for a lomo gathering at Fullhouse Restaurant - celebrating the birthdays of October's boys and girls.

Happy Birthdays Ying Tze, Hooi, ah C, Reinert, Singblass and Chann! :)
Fullhouse is indeed a beautiful place to dine in but too bad my camera was out-of-batteries! They also said the foods there are nice so I must visit there again someday!

唉~我每天打开我的网页都看到一样的post!

其实也不是什么问题，只是真的很想摆脱那个“阴”影，但除了最近忙到没时间update外，我翻翻相簿还真的没什么照片好post了! 不是没拍照，只是多数是因公司版权因素，还不方便亮相。

So 怎么办？

这些是我在LOMO新山之旅时用Diana+拍的照片，拍了一卷半，结果那剩下的半卷到现在都还没拍完，其他Horizon的更不用说（哪有时间scan!），最后只有这卷，因为给相馆scan了，所以放上来... 顶着先，嘻嘻~

Here are some of the behind scenes while we were shooting for Project530 at Ipoh on the 1st & 2nd Oct.

A very big thanks to everyone involved, specially to Jacky, ah Boy, Xiao Qian and her son - Xiao Xuan, Xiang's ah yi, Ah Chun & Ah Hou for their helps! Without you all, our shoot at Ipoh wouldn't be succeeded. Thanks!

We reached Ipoh about 2pm on the first day, after checked in the house, we went to meet Xiang's ah yi and started scouting for locations.

Here goes the photos:

A group photo with Xiang's ah yi. Thanks her for letting us using her house as one of the location, which is also one that I desired to have as the background.

Because the subject to be shot in ah yi's house wasn't ready yet so we proceed with another scene. The location was set outside a secondary school.

Deng!Deng! Xiang & Yong Hao are our talent as secondary school students. See how cute they look in school uniform! haha!

At night, Jacky brought us to eat seafood. Very nice, my first time tried this so called "drunken prawn"!

Then he brought us to visit some places. This is the Ipoh train station, they said it used to be a very heritage building, I'm sure it sure look alot better than this newly renovated one.

Then we went to the old town (旧街场) for a walk, and I found this interesting angle, haha~ Thanks to Yong Hao for the shot.

The second day, we visited ah Boy's corn farm.

The scenery there is very nice. At Ipoh, you get to see layers of mountains surrounding you everywhere.

This is Ah Chun & Ah Hou, our young talent for this farm scene.

It has been not raining those 2 days, we know the rain is unpredictable, but since we want it to be rain, we have to make one ourself. Ah Boy and his worker is pumping the water from the nearby lake.

Aik Sern was checking the path as if there's any sharp or dangerous object that might harm the kids' foot, and he spotted a used condom pack! haha~

Here come the shoot of the raining scene.

After the farm's shot, we headed back to the town and continued with our next shoot in Xiang's ah yi's house. This cute little boy - Xiao Xuan, is Jacky's son. He will be our talent for the scene.

Thanks to Xiao Xuan and his mum, Xiao Qian, they were so cooperate, the shoot went very smooth!

At the end of day, we wrap up after the scene in a very retro-look bus. I really love the color of the bus.

It's a wrap! Ready to pack and go back KL.

But before we leave, Yong Hao suggested the very famous Ipoh Lou Wong nga-coi-gai. Wow! When we got there, the crowds were so pack until everyone lining up on the street, and almost every table there's someone standing aside waiting! We got lucky because not long after we got a table, and we all were so satisfy as the food there is really good!

Then we started our journey home... and at the half way, it rain! What the!! @@|||

Eventually I think the shoot went really well. We had all the 5 scenes and shots we expected in these 2 days, which is better than we thought it would be.

Thanks again to Jacky for the super great hospitality, for the talents he brought us. Thanks to ah Boy and Xiang's ah yi for the perfect location. Thanks to all the talents for their professional works. And finally thanks to our crew members for the great efforts!

Here's what I'm up to recently....

I'm so excited, one of the project I'm handling now is to shoot a series of photograph for a XXX commercial pitching purpose. We came out with the idea to tell one simple story using a few pictures. Last Sunday was our first day to shoot, early in the morning about 5:30am we were out at the KL city to shoot 2 scenes. Special thanks to Yong Hao and Wei Yeng for being our model, they are awesome!

I can't publish the photos here yet since they are P&C, the photo above is simply one of the behind scene I took for Yong Hao & Yeng.

Our next shoot will be at Ipoh. We will be there for this coming Wednesday & Thursday. Lets pray the shoots run smooth and I hope sooner or later I can share with you all the photos!

EVERYLOMOBODY JB TRIP

About 16 of us, has drove down to Johor Bahru for a non-stop lomo-craziness trip. Indeed, it was a non-stop laughter, non-stop photographing, non-stop happiness...

EVERYLOMOBODY happened back in few weeks time already, and yet the pictures are still very fresh in my mind. And because of such a beautiful trip, I have decided to try another approach to share the photos I shot on that 3 days. A very big thanks to Seng Kit who actually taught me on how to do this photo slideshow.

The production took me about 2 weeks, finding times from the busy working life to manage through thousands of pics was very hard. Anyway, now it's done and I really hope you guys will like it. At least I hope the photos will tell its stories better than any words.

I know that everyone has been so thankful for the trip, so am I, and no matter how, I believed it was one of the best trip could ever happened in our life. Thank you everyone! :)

This line still keep refreshing inside my mind...

Met up with Kok Feng & Poh Leng 2 days ago to do a little photo shooting session for their coming wedding's presentation. A very creative mind of them to come out with the idea - having a theme titled "The Perfect Chemistry" for their wedding. Our shooting session took place at their former Uni's lab.

We had lots of fun along the shoot. Poh Leng is very cute, everytime when I shot using my Horizon camera, she will repeat the same thing "hou geng ahhh~~" haha!

Thought of to reserved the post for JB's lomo trip, but I really has not enough time yet until today to manage all the photos. There are like thousands of them... T_T
Anyway, here are something what I scanned last night, some horizon photos taken during Yong Hao's birthday celebration at Aik Sern's house.

I like the retro color way of these pictures alot. :) For the last pic they said our costume look retro too, haha~

Yong Hao's new toy

The sms I received from Yong Hao after he bought himself a new Canon EF50mm f1.8. Haha~

哎呀，被发现了！
她是慧慧，一位非常专业的兼职推销员。趁学校放假，她现在在 Sunway Pyramid 的 Jusco 里摆放的 Bencoolen 档口做工。
噢对！她是阿香的妹妹。

哇！不亲眼看也不相信，她现场的推销能力还真厉害！难怪该负责公司 EIEI Entertainment，曾在他们的部落格封她为最佳推销员。差不多天天给你 hit target ，有谁不想要这样的员工！看他不停的拉顾客，甜甜的嘴巴有说就没停，又精通全部语言，加上可爱的笑容，有多少顾客可以不动心...
