ShangHai Wedding night

Went back to KB last weekend to attend ah Xiong & Jenny's wedding dinner. The theme was ShangHai night, the whole event was very well-planned and went very smooth. Works well done to Xiong and all the commitees. We enjoy the night alot! Thanks for bringing us a different wedding reception.

I was attending Xiong's wedding dinner at KB the other night, while I was taking some casual photos, this very "yeng" pose kept appearing infront of me. He is my best friend - CH.

Yeah, my house.

It's all began with Xiang helping her friends to look for a house in the condo I lived and there we came across with this agent. And that was about 2 months ago...

That time, the rental contract of the unit I lived-in previously is about to end in end of Sept, so it's either we continue to rent for another year, or we moved out. Ofcoz we've been planning to buy a house and doing some research from time to time. So when Xiang introduced the agent to her friend, we asked her to show us some available units as well.

Then she recommended us to this house. It is the largest among the 3 type of unit in this condo, and is selling out at a lower price. Why? Because this house was rent out to some irresponsible tenants that pissed of the owner. They didn't pay for their rentals, water bills and even electricity... and messed up the house so bad. Eventually the owner has no choice but to bare the overdue bills himself after rejected them out. Next, is to sell the house, cheaper.

And what coincidence, the owner is also from Kelantan. So samo-samo kelate, very easy to talk lah. Because we need to move in before Oct, he even agreed to give us the key before the bank loan is done, so that we can start the renovation straight away.

16.08.2009 - Research & planning. Below show the early stage of my 3D plan.


24.08.2009 - Renovation began. See how bad was the condition of the house.






29.08.2009 - done with the wiring and air-con cables. I added in around 20 electric outlets around the house.


31.08.2009 - Repaint. Why blue? Beach boy mah!




02.09.2009 - Shopping shopping shopping!! Don't know how many times I go Ikea every week... @@


05.09.2009 - Hook up the lights, change the locks, aluminum windows, doors...


07.09.2009 - Ikea delivery...


12.09.2009 - My parent came down to help with the assembly.




20.09.2009 - Xiang's mum helped with the "ceremony".




I moved in on 21.09.2009. It is a good day, my mum said. :)

Xiong & Jenny's pre-wedding

Ah Xiong is a very best friend of me, therefore processing his pre-wedding photos took me a very long time to finish... slowly, carefully and with lots of heart's work. :P

Next weekend will be the big day of Xiong and Jenny, so I guess it's about time to present his pre-wedding album that was shot last April at Perhentian Island. Without the assist from Gary, make-up by Jaymee, wardrobe by Xiang, and companian of grandpa & many friends, that wouldn't be a successful and fun trip!

Thanks to Xiong & Jenny again for giving me the chance to shoot their wedding photo, and brought me back to this beautiful island.
