17-85mm f4-5.6? the dof seems very nice lei haha now i believe its user's problem for me rather than the equipment :P nice and enjoyable photos as always! havent come across error 1 before, but other minor battery and lens error is a norm! usually reattach the battery/lens would solve the issue :)
ya dorr, that's the only lens i brought. And was surprised by it's quality as well, despite the fact that I haven't used it for so long. The DOF is not bad especially at 85mm even though it's f5.6I did try reattach the lens and cleaned up the connection parts but it just won't work. I guess it's just mad because of being left aside for such long. haha~ Anyway, I sent the lens and camera for service already after home. :)Thanks for your comment.
all your pictures made me remember on my Jun'09 BKK trip with frens ...chun ^^

joyce, 之后她問我說刪除了沒有，我說刪除了。她還是不相信，接著說“哪里？”，要我讓她看，結果我就隨便翻幾張別的照片給她看，這樣她才甘愿... @@Darren, i hear the call for very long time already...haha~ but I don't have ticket to go there...Lay, I wanna go too! What is the date?

Hi Dick!I have the same problem as well with the 17-85 earlier this year. According to technician, it's due to the failure of the diaphragm. It took about a week to be fixed at Canon HQ. Really nice pics by the way!
Hooi, you need to repeat so many times onot? Not honest at all... haiz~ hahaAndrew, so how much it cost the repair? Canon just called me today and said mine cost RM250... quite expensive... but no choice~
Dick, it's time to get a new lens!c'mon!~Nice BKK shots!~ ( [-][-] b
RM250? Wow. Mine was still under warranty (final month) that time. So it was FOC. By the way, since it's being repair, you might wanna ask them if it's possible to tighten up the lens if it has zoom creeping problem.
Ok Andrew, thanks for your advices.Haozilla, yeah, I'm thinking of 17-50 Tamron...
不要弄到我一直去airasia homepage 啦！I miss BANGKOK!>.<
