A new toy from HK

Kelvin, who recently came back from his Hong Kong's trip, has brought me back a new toy - Holga 135BC. What a coincident is, LSI also launched the Holga135 on their webpage the same day as Kelvin reached Malaysia.

Kelvin also bought me a mini-holga 110 (hold by Xiang) for my ealier birthday present! The pink box is the Holga 135BC which he helped me to buy.

Thanks Kelvin!! :)

Here are some of the photos shot with Holga 135BC:

What I like about this camera is, it is exactly my favorite Holga camera with the same plastic lens, but this time it uses 35mm format and has a 'countable' advance wheel. Plus the addition of the 'BC' which gives a very strong vginette/black corner to my picture. I just love it! :)

It's Xmas Time!

Here are some of the festive shots I took at Midvalley Megamall, there they have a really nice Christmas decoration at the centre court. I've got shots (in different roll) from some other malls as well, but the bad side about film photography is that you won't get to see your picture right away like digital, because you need time for processing, and specially when you do the scanning yourself, it just takes more time ...

I know Christmas has just passed but I still wanted to wish everyone, whoever has came in here regulary or even just dropped by sometimes,

Merry Xmas & a Wonderful New Year!

.

more to share soon...

Xiang's Birthday

7th of Dec is a big day for Xiang, it is also another day for me to brandstorming of what to buy for this little princess...

When the clock reached 12am, we were at the K.T.Z Food having a little 'two-people-world' drinking session. I gave her no present yet and I said it needed a little delay due to some reasons.

Happy Birthday luvly!

People shoots picture to celebrate one year older.

Splitzer is really a good tool to get us a two-shot.

The following morning, Chang had accompany me out hunting for Xiang's present. That is the reason why I postponed the present because Chang is only free until that day. Another reason why I needed Chang's help on this is because he is so familiar with the thing I was gonna buy for xiang.
After that, we met up with Xiang and Jaymee, and had Pizza for our dinner.

She knew I've got something for her.

In the note I wrote: "This is specially for you as a pass-time while I am "lomoing" infront of the computer..." (Xiang always complained while I'm busying with Lomo infront of computer @@) Ok... I admit the clue is abit too obvious and she already got it right on her first guess, but anyway we just kept denying.

Started to unwrap the present.

So she was right, it's the PSP!

It is something she always wanted to have and glad she really liked it!

And the guest, Chang and Jaymee. Thanks alot to Chang for accompanying me to get the PSP, he is such a good buyer, who helped me to get the best price possible in town!

Xiang, enjoying her PSP.

Horizon in Black

Before I continued with more Xhibition Event's photos, here share some of my first BnW attempt with Horizon.

It is a C-41 processed negative so you can see a bit of some colder or warmer tone in it. I think it is nicerr this way, looks more like a 'real' and natural black and white rather than only pure grey tone, which is easily seen by doing the desaturate in any photo editing software.

Lomo X-hibition Event Day

Outdoor group photo:

By using the 5 Horizon camera, we shot a big 369 degree group photo. I haven't seen the result from the other 4 camera yet, but I hope it went well. Will post it later when I got all from them.
