Kelantan, the city of PAS

For the past 18 years, my hometown Kelantan has been ruled by PAS (the opposition Islamic party), and once again, they won the state during the 12th Malaysian general election held recently.

So what is the feeling living in a city of PAS?

Well, it isn't bad actually, in fact, I think it is a peaceful place to live in compared to many other states. Except that there are several rules that we like to bring up the topic as a joke, something like, man and woman are not allowed to sit together in the cinema. Anyway that was the old days because now there has no cinema anymore. Also used to be said that girls, even Chinese are not allow to wear short or skirt in the city but the fact I don't really see it happened...

Here's something I like to share, something I had discovered during the last shopping with my parents to a new open hyper market- Tesco not long ago. I have no idea why and how is that works, but it surely something you won't be seeing at any other places I guess. It's just ridiculous!
